Starting with January 20th of 2019, our licensing system will have been updated to increase security and to enhance the licensing system for new licensing options in the future. If you try to activate a new license key or a renewal license key on an outdated and unpatched OpenVPN Access Server after January 20th of 2019, you will see an error message. To resolve that, follow the instructions to either upgrade your Access Server to the latest version, or apply the licensing patch.
